Congratulations to our Commander-in-Chief, winner of the Nobel Peace Prize.
While I agree that he inspires hope and has improved the prospect of dialogue with other nations, I admit it is a bit ironic that his prize for peace comes at a time when I’m still in the ‘stan and the US is reportedly sending several more thousand troops to fight this contingency. (I’m not criticizing my boss, just stating facts.)
Still, I support our Commander-in-Chief … Much more so than the haters who lose sleep trying to dissect every word that comes from his lips and find fault with it.
They find fault with him trying to “compromise” with other nations to resolve problems.
They find fault with him shaking a Marine’s hand after returning a salute. Seriously … people are upset that the President saluted a Marine, then shook his hand afterward. (Some people tried to lie and say that Obama never saluted. Watch the footage. He did.)
Really, people? I mean, REALLY? These things upset you about our President? REALLY?
I wonder why …
The hate is just eating these people alive. I actually feel sorry for them.
My friend Jon told me something I believe is true:
If President Obama stated that people should brush between meals, these haters would let their teeth fall out of their mouths before they would admit that he is right about something.
