Flu shot day

Even in the ‘stan, we get flu shots. (You happy now, Mama? I’m wearing an undershirt, too!)

Another day in the office today (instead of going outside the wire.) I’m not complaining.

Today being Friday, the equivalent of a Sunday in the United States, we still had to work, but instead of staying in the office all day, we had some “mandatory fun.” We had a little barbecue and played hoops in a tent and played volleyball for a couple of hours. I tried to hang with the young’uns, but was again reminded that I’m too old to be actin’ like Jordan.

Aside from that, the ladies in the team’s medical office doled out flu shots. So, I thought I’d take this pic just to show my mother (who worries about me incessantly,) that I do indeed take care of myself. (Or, at least, the military tries to do it for me!) Next week, I’ll post some video of me eating broccoli. That oughtta do it.
