Take a look at the picture. It’s a school in Nijrab district. A real, formal school. The teacher is obviously the one who is standing.
No running water.
No internet connection.
No WOMEN. (Although, there are separate women’s schools.)
I went to several schools as a child … all of them were public schools, and none of them really that great by American standards. But, at least I had walls and could get a meal there.
Of course, I would have preferred NOT going to a high school where police had to clear out the parking lot each day, but after hanging around the ‘stan, I’m thankful.
